California Governor Jerry Brown signed the second half of the California DREAM (Development, Relief, and Education of Alien Minors) Act that allows illegal student immigrants to apply for state aid for college. Illegal student immigrants that have graduated from a California high school and can prove they're on the path to being a legalized resident, can pay in state tuition fees. The California DREAM Act now allows these students to apply for state aid.

Why not? If they can pull their weight and show others that they can contribute then it's fine. If they're gonna leach then it's not.

Good! These people come here looking for a better life let them go to school and try to better their life's by becoming citizen then they may be able to pay taxes.

Why not? If they've proven they're on track to becoming a good, legal citizen, even if they didn't get there legally, I don't think that's an issue. It's actually good for the economy.

Sounds like a fair deal to me, so long as they don't receive preferential aid or admissions based on ethnicity or background. And I'm not a Democrat.
