Yeah, sure, just wait till the end of the year only for them to stay another year or so. If Obama's promise is kept, unlike last time, terrific. If it isn't, can't say I'm surprised.

I'm so happy about this. It's about freaking time.
And yeah, he's probably trying to get a reelection. Barely any decisions made by a politician aren't mostly on self interest, no matter what party or political system. Get over it. They're all corrupt. Let's celebrate that our troops won't be the casualties of it.

Why are you all cheering? You realize this means that the problems with terrorism will not be over, people in the country will still live in fear, and nothing has changed since their deployment other than Osama's death. I promise if America was being invaded from the inside, you wouldn't be happy is all of your help was pulling out.

I'm liberal as all hell when it comes to politics, and what frightens me is that I've lost all hope in U.S. politics. I really do believe this is a strategic move to become re-elected, because it's all drama over there and it's all about the public perception. Which sounds obvious, but sticking to your guns and being true to yourself is more important in politics than pleasing others, especially those on the opposite side of the political spectrum.
Yes, I would rather Obama re-elected than one of the crazy conservatives you guys have. But, overall, I would rather the old Obama, the one who was the American dream. Not the tired one who is backed into a corner. |
