2-year old boy missing in Washington State - November 7th 2011, 11:26 AM

http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/06/us/was...html?hpt=us_c2

I happened to run across this article while reading the news this morning. Does anyone else think this story has some red flags in it?

Thoughts?

Personally I would have took the two year old with me carrying the two year old and having the 4 year old's hand. It's sad the two year old is 'missing' but it also sounds to me as though the mother planned this, I do not get why you would leave a 2 year old in the car. To me it there is information missing and the parent has sounded neglectful. And surely someone would have noticed a person going to the car and taking a child and walking off ? And what about CCTV should the police not check the CCTV.

This article is screaming out at me that the mother planned this and that the mother knows where her 2 year old is.

the girl who seemed strong
CRUMBLED
the girl who always laughed
CRIED
the girl who never stopped trying finally
GAVE UP

she let her fake smile fade and as she did a tear rolled down her cheek and she whispered

' i can't do this anymore'

I really hope the mother isnt involved. It's sad to think that there are parents out there that would do this to their own kids. Just irritates me. ><

Yes, red flags everywhere even after reading the comments under the story it makes you think why she would leave her 2 year old behind? Why did she call her "friend" after she was in the gas station and not waited in her car with both her children? I hope the child is alright but we all know how this type of cases always end up.

I don't get why she would take the four year old, but not two year old... F
Today, most people have cell/mobile phone, why did she leave the car ... I

It's very fishy, this better not be a money grabbing scheme!
