He faces 21 years in prison after pleading guilty. Personally I don't know why he did it, perhaps it was because he was homophobic, maybe he's just messed up. Was justice finally given to the King family? Satanism is not a white light religion; it is a religion of the flesh, the mundane, the carnal - all of which are ruled by Satan, the personification of the Left Hand Path.

In terms of murder, and when a family has lost a loved one, I don't think any justice can be served. Yes, they can get rid of the person who did this to them, who took away the light of their lives, but there is nothing anyone can do to bring their loved one back.
That being said, I AM happy that this boy will spend 21 years in prison, if that's what he is served with. However, it should be much more, since there is NO excuse to shoot and kill someone. I can't say I feel any particular happiness about the sentence, any more than I would about any other sentence. The one plus side is that it spares another drawn-out trial over what was, at heart, a fairly technical distinction between categories of homicide. Aside from that, my main feeling is one of sadness that this happened in the first place.
