Once again teachers all over america show stupidty and suspend kids on stupid shit and don't go after kids who like to bully others...

It is said his parents weren't notified that he was being sent to juvenile detention. The boy, who was never charged, scored a -2 (on a scale of 1 to 10) on a risk assessment given by jail staff. Of course there's now a lawsuit, as the teacher, principal and a city cop are all being sued as a result. The lawsuit claims this isn't the first time the boy's had a run-in with school administrators. Earlier in the year, they'd found $200 in his pocket and suspected him of selling pot. Although he asked to call his mom, it is alleged that they instead forced him to strip down to his underwear, while five adults watched.

This is stupid, plus the weed, they had no right to search him because of money, how did they know he had 200, unless he smells like weed or something like it, they have no right, they should be sued

What a bunch of fucking abusive douche bags. Every asshole responsible should have the same done to them 10 times worse. Have police break into their house at 2am with tear gas and flash grenades, vandalise their house whilst "looking for drugs", kidnap them, not notify anyone, not tell them what's going on and why they're arrested, ship them off to some random prison... lol. That'd be justice. I'd make my day seeing their faces.

That is genuinely the worst excuse yet I've heard for arresting someone, because he burped. Makes it even worse that it was only a kid, and even worse that they "shipped him off"... like he was some sort of dangerous career criminal.

I don't see anywhere where it is against the law to have over a certain amount of money in your pocket. And how did they even find it???? I don't think h=they have money detectors in schools. That is an infringement on his rights. His parents should have been notified that their child had a large amount of money in his pockets at most. It may be suspicious but you can't make him strip down. And if he was selling pot the fact that he had he money on him meant he already sold the pot. There was nothing else to find on him.

Does this mean if a child goes to school with expensive jewelry on, they are doing something wrong too?

This is by far the stupidest bullshit I've seen in a while, and that's really saying something. If you have to burp you have to burp. What are they gonna do next, arrest him for farting in class? Makes about as much noise as a simple burp, and it's a natural bodily function. If you have to burp, burp. You have to fart, fart. I'd say he has every right to sue that school for multiple infringements on his rights and get that school shut down. If the teachers are doing things like this, that's what needs to happen. Have the damn place shut down. There was absolutely no need to arrest this boy, and the strip search was DEFINITELY an infringement on his rights. They had no reason to strip him. The economy is in a bad enough shape, why the hell waste money calling for police to come and arrest someone for burping? Things like this are why I say our society is fucked. I am honestly getting pretty pissed off, and that's damn hard to do. I have no faith in the society of this country, because our society is run by shitheads. Try arresting the kids who are actually doing pot, who are beating other kids senseless for being different, who are drinking alcohol, who are generally being fuckheads. They're the ones that need taken care of, not some poor kid who burped in class. If I was there I would walk up to whoever authorized this and belch right in their fucking face.

All of the administrators and police men involved in both of the incidents should be fired. This is absolutely R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S. I'm surprised the boy hasn't been sent to a physiologist for having to strip down for having $200.
