Don't get me wrong, I'm so excited to hear that the troops have been removed from Iraq and are going to be coming home to safety! But, the part I quoted is my FAVORITE part of your post. Hahah. People who don't understand the subtleties of sarcasm amuse me to no end. Were there really people that thought you were a baby-eating cannibal?! LOL.

Yes. Much to my amusement, there have been complaints about my username. Of course I've only found out right after I changed it back to my original name, TheBabyEater, so the noobs will have to wait another 6 months before I can change it. Poor Robs and Mods will have to put up with their complaints of my offensive username for awhile I guess

Oh my. I really don't know what to say to that. Mind you, a while back someone thought my username meant I was claiming to be a doctor - that took some getting my head around...

Anyway, I'm going to guess that it's probably something like your e-mail being on a (probably completely unrelated) mailing list that it's picking up from, or else something on Facebook or the like. Does seem a bit weird though.

I probably got on the list from www.change.org petitions. It hasn't been the first time I've absent-mindedly signed a petition, given my email, and they're literally sent it to whoever. I guess this time it was Barack Obama.

Just looks like they're trying to stir up some 2008-era feelings for Obama by sending out a "Look what I did" email to anyone who supported him in the past.

I don't think I ever registered to be a democrat? Maybe I did when I registered to vote, though I doubt it. I'd register to be an independent
