If I'm reading this correctly, the mother was high on crystal meth. Obviously her head isn't screwed on right if she's trying to do anything while on it. How can a mother of 2, with the history she has, be able to keep her kids. The law saddens me at times.

I couldn't stop laughing at the link, not because of the story, which truly is unfortunate but instead I saw the photograph of the mother.

Drugs can make someone do sorts of things like this. Innocent life gone because she let the drugs take control of her. What is the real sad thing, there are many others in this situation. Careless parents who are high on drugs, with something unfortunate happening to their child.

All I can say is I don't envy the various persons who are going to have to deal with the investigation and prosecution of this, nor those dealing with the wider fallout (such as her other children likely being taken into care). This is going to be a difficult one to cope with.

Yeah, she was on drugs. ..But that does not make it anymore justified. Her head might have not been in the right place, but she still decided to use the drug. She still made that choice. This is absolutely horrible. And my heart goes out to her children and her boyfriend. I think she needs to do so time. And I don't think she should ever get custody of her kids back.

I will NEVER, EVER deliberately harm a child - much less put her in A FUCKING WASHING MACHINE. I'm sick to my stomach right now. I cannot believe this has happened. Give her the death penalty - make her suffer like her child did. That poor little girl...

Oh. My. God. Absolutely horrifying. (Triggering) I heard a story about a woman putting her child in an oven once under the influence of meth. That stuff just...I don't think you can think straight in any way, shape, or form. I think she should do time though, besides rehabilitation. She chose to do drugs around a child and put the child in danger. The poor family.

I genuinely hope she rots in jail. It's people like this that the death penalty should be brought back for. Call it extreme, but whatever.
'She was on drugs, she didn't know what she was doing' is a completely invalid argument - if she's stupid enough to take them (the drugs) in the first place, then she's not really fit to look after a child, is she?! The worst thing is that she has two other children, aged 3 and 4, who will now have to live with the knowing that their mother killed their sister.
