Be resolute! - November 17th 2012, 02:00 PM

In our world today there is a lot of debate about scientific proof of what you believe, and great distraction caused by confusing "Christian" role models who don't follow God. It's important as a teenager especially to remember you are on the front lines. You don't need scientific proof to validate your belief. Noah didn't have scientific proof a flood was coming, our Father Jesus didn't do what religious "leaders" thought was acceptable. Enforce your connection to God, the God of Moses and Abraham, stand for what you think and believe. Don't follow the other sheep, follow the Shepherd!

I love this, this couldn't be more true! I made a quote a few months ago about this: Jesus wasn't sent to follow the crowd, but was sent to show people the way.

Honey bunch, global genocide, even if it didn't really happen, won't ingratiate your religion to me.

You heard it here kids. Following apocryphal parables and bronze-age texts without question or validation is the key to success in life.
I mean, just look at Hitler and his doctrines regarding Aryan superiority. That ended in epitomic success, did it not?
Oh, wait...

Personally I think the OP is right, it is the current young generation's job to lead the way for religious people. It's their job to show older Christians who are stuck in their ignorant narrow minded ways, that you can have faith, and follow God, but not be prejudice against people. It the responsibility of young Christians out there to see to it that the world's view on Christians changes, and we no longer generalize that all Christians are ignorant and narrow minded. So yes all of you young Christians out there, lead the way prove to us that just because someone is Christian and has faith in God doesn't mean that they are pains in the butt.

Thomas didn't believe Christ rose from the dead unless he had scientific proof. Can it be that bad to want scientific proof if even one of Christ's disciples didn't believe without it?
