 As far as praise music, if you play an instrument, make your own. It's more fun, genuine, from YOUR heart, and you can make it sound better. A weirder band that sings directly from the Bible is Psalters, all their music is free. Otherwise, I think Chris Tomlin is a bigger name for praise music. Oh, another one, if you haven't already heard of them, is Skillet. They're a rock group singing praise songs.
Thebandwithnoname is a rap group singing praise songs. Check out Amazing Grace, it's awesome.
