So, according to the batshit crazy lady who cornered me outside the library today, I can either turn or burn. Honestly. That's what she said. She went on a religious rant about how I was in sin and needed the lord jesus christ to save me from my wicked self. She quoted Scripture at me, thrust her religious propaganda in my hands, and proceeded to condemn me to hell for not being her idea of perfect.. She said I should turn from my wicked ways and pray to god almighty to save my wicked sinful soul.. then reared back and shook her finger in my face and practically roared, "Young lady, the choice is yours. You can turn or burn!"

 I'm not so great with advice. Could I interest you in a sarcastic comment instead? |

Oh, and my wicked ways had to do with the fact that I didn't open the door for her and her granddaughter, my shirt has a peace sign, I show no respect for other people because I parked too close to her car, I have a bumper sticker that says "Horn Broken-Watch for finger!", I said dang it in front of her twelve year old granddaughter... and I'm not kidding, this lady followed me around the library, out the door, and through the parking lot, before finally cornering me at my car. I did not know this shit happened.

I'm afraid people using religion to justify their personal feelings toward others is exceptionally common. The best you can do is ignore it.

Honestly, she sort of made my day..I mean I was pretty pissed off and more than a little freaked out by a little old lady yelling in my face.... but after I got in the car and was think about it, I cracked up.
 Turn or burn? Lol I dunno if she made that up or what, but it was about the funnuest thing a religious fanatic has ever said to me, and trust me....there's been some pretty ridiculous ones over the years.
