Summer solstice! -

The Summer solstice(winter solstice for those of you in the southern hemisphere) is Tuesday here. As a Pagan, I usually do some fun celebrating things on the solstices, including baking. I was wondering if anyone else had solstice plans?

It's going to be a big feast for me and my Coven! Complete of course with an altar and plenty of grain related foods.

As I am not Pagan, I don't have a true Solstice celebration per se, but I'll enjoy the Solstice nonetheless. I'll be having a bonfire with a great group of people and enjoying the generous amounts of daylight.

Winter solstice for me.
 My plans just involve quiet time - reflection, reading, things like that. Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |
