Many Tarot decks come with a booklet that lets you know what each card means. If not, then you can find the meanings online, along with that, you can also find instructions on how to read them, as well as a variety of spreads. Hope this helps

some sites said that learning what each card means isn't important it's when the cards are together the meaning then is what you should know but then on other websites it says that learning the meaning of each cards is what you should learn? I'm confused.

Learn each card, when you start putting them in spreads, then that's when you read them together. Some spreads are simply pulling one card out of the deck and that can be your, or someone else's reading. If you want to go advanced, try some spreads like the Celtic Cross. There are even some instructional videos on YouTube on how to read cards.

start with one suit, like the cups/hearts. for those its easy to pick up the feelings from it. like 3 of cups is sorrow and normally the card has darker, more unpleasant colors. make little references to yourself to help remember the meaning. which deck do you have, maybe i can make specific refererances if I know which deck...?

once you get the meaning down, how you make it work with the other cards is up to you. but as for the major arcena pairings with each other, those are a bit harder for beginers. PM me if you need help with anything.
