Re: The story of Carson-my own religion. Tell me your thoughts -

Through dreams, thoughts, meditations, etc. I have always also thought something special about the year 1997. I couldn't quite put my finger on it until one time I was listening to "Age of Loneliness (Carly's song) " by Enigma and it just sort of hit me. Yes, we will visit aliens someday. Its a mathmatical certainty. Intelligent life is out there. There are trillions and trillions of planets, its highly unlikely that we are the only ones. We may not have the technology for wormholes now , but we will in the future. Its just a matter of time. And we will be able to stop aging someday. We already know how to extend the life of mice : http://www.fightaging.org/archives/2...ds-in-mice.php
Its only a matter of time. |

It's a matter of time, assuming we don't wipe ourselves out first. With the current state of affairs in the world, either is possible.
The atoms that make up you and me were born in the hearts of suns many times greater than ours and in time our atoms will return once again to reside amongst the stars. Life is but an idle dalliance of the cosmos, frail, and soon forgotten. We have been set adrift in an ocean whose tides we are only beginning to comprehend, and with that maturity has come the realization that we are, at least for now, alone. In that loneliness, it falls to us to shine as brightly as the stars from which we came.
