I read a book that had a girl who attempted lucid dreaming and it was very interesting. I cannot do it, but I think it would be quite the experience.

I try on a regular basis to lucid dream.
I can feel it starting but can't actually do it properly. Can you do it? What experiences have you had? P.S. I love the movie Inception.

I can lucid dream, on occasion, but I have no actual technique because if I think too hard about it, it doesn't work.
![]() Sometimes it just sort of happens, as weird as that sounds, and I've found no way to actually induce a lucid dream - it just happens sometimes, so I roll with it.
Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |

I can lucid dream (or at least I think that's what it is), but only if it's in the very early hours of the morning, right after I've woken up but I'm still between being awake and being asleep. Then, I can concentrate on a single thing or topic (sort of tell a story in my head), and when I go to sleep, the story will continue -- pretty much always the way I want it -- in my dreams.
EDIT: Wait, I think I've misunderstood the meaning of lucid dreaming. Not to change the subject, but is lucid dreaming the ability to control your dreams, or to realize you're in a dream and explore the dream that's already created? ![]() It takes a long time to grow an old friend. - John Leonard |

I studied psychics and could always astral project on the spot to places and different realms of reality in the universe and my mind. you learn a lot of awesome stuff.

I always seem to have lucid dreams. I know I'm dreaming and I can change what I do but not what the other people do. I usually just stay in the dream doing things I would normally never do

quick question- how are you inducing the lucid dreams? ive tried with very little success.
as for astral projection it's very hard to do because youre literally seperating your soul and body and theyre kinda attached. haha "Once in a while we have to do something that scares us. Whoever says that what I want to do /doesn't/ scare me to death, is wrong. It scares me so much more than that."
If you have any questions about ghosts, spirits, Wicca, earth angels or if you just want to talk, PM me. I can help. ![]() |

I have never actively tried to induce lucid dreaming, but I have them often enough.
I have induced out of body experiences before (I was interested in 'astral projection' at the time). PM me if you want to know more about it. |

its kinda weird to explain its something that I tried and got right after some practice and eventually just became a norm, its actually difficult to do on physical planes for me (right brained, left are more defined and can AP on earth better) so I go to heavan, hell, and the weird gaps in between realities, I like to think of it as creative daydreaming but I know im going places cuz according to satanic and holy scriptures I havent read, the places I see are pretty accurate

okay well you said that its something that you do with a little practice. what do or did you do to start having lucid dreams? like meditation before sleep or something? basically what was/is your process?

anyway. yes practice is important. Here are a few steps, some can be missed or skipped. Its just a guide for lucid dreaming basics: 1. Firstly remembering one dream at least once a week would be a good start 2. Every time you wake up and remember a dream, go through it in your head and keep thinking about it. 3.After you start remembering lots of dreams make a dream journal (This will help a lot for dream recall and dream signs) 4. once you have done this you can get started. 5. Reality checks are the most important things to start lucid dreaming. when you are in your dream you need to ways to test if you are dreaming or not. common tests are: can you breathe with fingers sealing your lips, jumping: will you float back down? and do your hands look normal? These techniques need to be learnt and you may even have to memorize them 6. After this you will need to choose techniques to try. For beginners the WBTB (wake-back-to-bed) method is probabley the easiest to get you lucid. check out this link below for a wide range of info check out this very good website:http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Lucid_Dreaming good luck. If you have any questions please pm me |

I do it every once in awhile.
I don't do anything special though, it just happens every once in awhile. |
