Ok, so I am pretty sure that my dog is my familiar, 99 percent actually, but can someone describe exactly what happens, because i have a mental link with my dog, and well yeah, so any advice on this subject would be great
What is love? I lost the meaning long ago.

How do you mentally link with a dog? Can you understand it's thoughts? Do you two talk when mentally linked? What the hell do you talk about with it if so? I'm just curious to how you personally believe this works. - Justin  |

familiars are commonly seen as animals or spirits(depending on if they live in this plane or the spiritual one) that lends their help(magical or otherwise) to their owner/host.
its very possible that your dog is your familiar, especially if you have a special bond with them. not all witches or magic users have familiars though. and my familiar is on the spiritual plane so im not sure how to describe it about on this plane.... Many times people do have physical familiars, I'm one of two people I know that have one that exists on the spiritual plane.

i can't get to the spiritual plane, its quite difficult for me, meditation has always been hard for me

you just have to practice. as a beginner to meditation, its harder to completely clear your mind. just focus on something simple and specific(like your breathing) at first.

hmm, maybe you need to cast a "spell" or incantation or mantra. get yourself kind of into the kind of mentality for a spell if thats the only time you can clear your mind.
