I own it. Be careful what you choose. Some of it, I like. The other parts, are most definitely not for me. I don't like that it includes hexes & the "Black" side of Witchcraft. It's a fun read though

That would depend on what Tradition of Witchcraft you're practicing. I'd say you could find just about anything in that book relating to whatever it is you chose. The parts of the book that have your Tradition are "true", whatever you choose to be true, is, to you. But there are thousands more out there than just in that book. Writing your own to me, is a lot better and personal. But yes, if you want to use things out of there, it is legit. Use an herbal code so you know that you don't actually need the heart of this animal and a tongue of that animal.
I've found that a bit of what they have in there is hard to find.

Wait, let me ask this, have any of you ever seen a actual spell work?
Like if you "cursed" someone, did they break their leg? Or used a "Wealth" spell, did you somehow encounter wealth. I mean seriously, does your casting of spells even remotely help you? I mean when people pray they usually don't actually expect for things to change, and are only seeking comfort, so is that kind of what this is? I'm just very curious to how you believe this works. - Justin ![]() |

Yes, it's legit. So is much of the stuff out there for you to buy, use, or look at. Just be careful about what do.
Satanism is not a white light religion; it is a religion of the flesh, the mundane, the carnal - all of which are ruled by Satan, the personification of the Left Hand Path.

Mr.Self.Destruct: Like talking to yourself for reassurance... but less crazy.
Sythan: How is spell casting legitmate? How do you believe it works? What "Spells" have worked for you personally? Could these have just been caused by chance and probability? I'm very curious to how you people believe this works. I'm not trying to offend. - Justin ![]() |

I think it's arrogant to give us just your word that a spell to break someone's leg would actually work. I'm one of the most open minded people on this forum when it comes to spirituality (not religion though), but even I find that near impossible to grasp. I'm all for wicca and whatever being a personal thing that can be for relaxation, peace of mind, and your own emotional state, much in the same way meditation is. But the thought of a spell actually having a physical consequence for someone else, that just seems make believe.
If I fall and break my leg tomorrow I'll take it back. And I'm not trying to be offensive at all, I'm just saying that for such a large claim, you really need more than just your word. |

Arrogance is claiming superiority manifested in an overbearing manner. I don't believe my response to Jake was arrogant in the least, as I did not claim any sort of superiority by overbearing.
All of it has to do with will. What you will to happen. I'm not going to claim I know the secrets and inner-workings, but I believe that when you will for something to happen, and you send energy towards it, it gives it power to happen. Take for example when before Aleister Crowley died, his doctor refused to continue his opiate perscription for a respiratory infection, Crowley cursed him that he would die. Within 24 hours, his doctor died. I find that more than coincidence. The last Grandmaster of The Knights Templar Jacques DeMolay cursed King Philip IV and Pope Clement V as he was being burnt at the stake that both would die within 1 year of his death for them to face God for their crimes and false accusations against him and the Templars. Pope Clement V died of an illness a month later, and King Philip IV died in a hunting accident in November of that year, fulfilling Jacques DeMolay's curse. They both cursed these men while they were dying, releasing much energy in the final moments of their lives, which I believe caused it to become reality. They willed it to happen as a final act. Satanism is not a white light religion; it is a religion of the flesh, the mundane, the carnal - all of which are ruled by Satan, the personification of the Left Hand Path.

Sythan, i like you are saying it in words only people who have studied magick, can understand, basicly, if you will something to happen, depending on how much you want it to happen, it is more likley to happen, (Sythan, i know this is barely acurate compared to what we have read bout says, but its the simplistic way to put it)

Understand, I'm not trying to be a prat about it. It's just frustrating when the only proof someone can offer is their word. This is the kind of stuff I'd love to believe in, but it takes a certain amount of conviction to do so which I simply don't have on faith alone. I'd never mock someone's beliefs but I just can't quite grasp how it all works.

Sythan: So basically it boils down to the proverb "Positive thoughts welcome positivity" but on all ends of the spectrum. I don't believe in the concept that being happy will somehow make good things happen, but you have made the whole concept seem less... insane. Because honestly I never really trusted the sanity of someone who believed in casting "Spells" until you explained it right there.
