Arrow on leave again - December 30th 2017, 07:05 AM

I log into this site often just to check for pms or replies to my thread. but noticed that I don't use it anymore. I still struggle a lot with my eating disorder, depression and PTSD-like symptoms for emotional trauma in my past. But I'd rather stick with support from my social circle in real life. I've found deeper connections with certain family members recently and they understand me. I'm trying not to use technology as often especially when i'm depressed because it makes the depression worse.

thanks for everyone who PMed me or replied to my thread and who supported me through this journey of self discovery. I really appreciate you all.

I know you didn't need a full-out explanation for why I am leaving but I think I just wanted some last words to say to sum it all up. I'm moving onto the next season in my life and the next chapter that brings me somewhere else.

I wish you all the best of luck with your recoveries. I'll be hanging around just a bit to read replies of this thread then i'll be gone onto something different. Some new adventure, whatever that may be.

Thanks again for everything. Love you all.
Goodbye.

It's wonderful to hear that you've made such strong connections with members of your family and found a solid support group within your social circle. Best of luck in whatever this new season of your life brings, Cheyenne!

I'm really pleased to hear that you have found more meaningful connections with family! Technology can be great in helping us to learn and get support, but it can also cause mental health to worsen, so it's good that you are trying to lessen how much time you spend on devices!

Best of luck with moving onto a fresh chapter of your life. Remember, we'll all be here for you if you ever decide to come back, whether for a quick catch up or if you decide you want more support. Take care

hey,
It's really good that you have found people who can help you, outside of the internet. Just know we will always be here if you decide to come back.

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are

Hey Cheyenne, I am sorry to hear you still struggle. However, it's wonderful you've got a great support system in real life. To be honest, online support alone does not work for everyone. Face-to-face interaction with support works better, because then you can do things whilst talking. Such as writing, having the TV on in the background, playing a game, etc.

I wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life and please continue to take care of yourself. I am going to miss you on here.
