Hi, i have recently discovered this site and have found it really informative and helpful. I really want to get involved in this community and be able to help people out with their problems. I'm a sixteen year old guy with a pretty normal and stable life only recently i suffered a devastating loss of my uncle and a close friend back to back. Basically what i'm asking is this: how do i start helping people out on this site? is there anything i should know before using the forums? feel free to PM me or post here!

Hey there! Welcome to TH! I'm Dez. I hope you like it here. The people are really amazing. You can check out the Support Forums and see what threads people have posted asking for help, and you can answer those. Just be respectful and don't spam or post body weight, things of that nature. Hi Sasha. Welcome to TeenHelp.
 I think it's great you want to help. We need more people like you around. There are many ways you can help, for example by joining the staff team (although you'll have to post a bit more first) or the associate team, or a project like the Social Networking Team or Videos team - or maybe some combination of all of them. Click here to find out more about them. As Dez said, you can also reply to threads in the Support Forums, or help people in the Chat Room. Just remember that if you ever need help, you can get that here too. There are a few basic things that you'll need to know before getting involved in the community. Here's a thread on how to use the forums, and one on how to obtain advice or support. And remember to familiarise yourself with the site's Terms of Service, in particular the Code of Conduct, so you don't accidentally break any rules. Other than that, just get involved. We have blogs, a Chat Room, social groups, albums, and many other things, which I'm sure you'll enjoy. Another thing you could do if you felt like it is submit something to our magazine, Avatar. The link is here. Anyway. I think I've rambled on for long enough. Once again, welcome to the site, and I really look forward to seeing you around. Let me know if you need anything, okay?
