Goodbye and I'm Sorry...

Hey guys..
well I have come to the decision that I'm going to leave this site..
I have not been here all that long but..I just don't feel welcome here...
I joined to gain help from the perspective of different teens like me, and I have from time to time...
but visiting the chat and the forums...kind of makes me feel like I don't matter here...
Its like the way I feel at school; I don't feel welcomed and when I try to make friends, everyone goes back to their buddies.
Not everyone ignores me...and this isn't a complaining message...I'm just stating that I don't feel welcome or wanted no matter how hard I try here...

Plus...my parents don't want me on these sites due to the fact that a bad run in with a site like this made my depression worse
and the chat slows up my computer...

I know that what I said makes me seem like I am not grateful for the help I have gotten. I am very grateful...but at the same time...I don't want to stick around if I'm going to feel worse than how I felt before I log on. Maybe I am asking for a lot from people to try and like me or notice me...but I don't want to feel alone or unwanted....
And this isn't a cry for attention, this isn't a pity-seeking message or a whining message, not at all...

But unfortunately, I just don't feel like others want me around here...why clutter up the forums with messages that no one will care about...?

I truly am sorry for acting this way, angsting all over the forums here, and being so difficult...but thats what I feel...and its caused me to turn to leaving here...

so thank you all for the support you have given me , and once again, I am truly sorry for the angst coming from here...

I'm really sorry that you didn't find TeenHelp to be very welcoming. I don't know how long you've been here or how many people you've tried to talk to, but I'm sure that eventually you would have found someone that would have loved to talk to you. There are some really amazing people here and sometimes it just takes time to "click" with someone, if that makes sense.
Still, if it's your decision to leave us, then I respect that entirely. Don't be shy if you ever want to return; we're here for you always!

Like everyone else has said, we are really sorry of how you felt misplaced here at teen help.

Like others have said before me perhaps you tried to talk to the wrong people here who weren't very helpful here, although we try not to, we may have some "bad apples" on this site from time to time. If maybe you feel like contacting our our Teen Help Admins (by clicking HERE ) perhaps they can at least solve this issue so it doesn't happen again.

And like my fellow staffies have said if you do feel like coming back at any time/giving us a 2nd try (we sure hope you will) please come straight to me or anyother staff member for help. I speak for all of us, as we all promise not to leave you out of anything. We are all here for you!
