Hi. I've been a self injurer for seven years. I've run the gamut of emotional issues and family issues and everything else. I'm in a better place now but I still need help, and I want to help other people if I can. I've never talked about this with anyone but my Partner. So I may be a little slow in knowing what to say or do.

I'm usually pretty shy (although I'm getting better) so I'll probably lurk more than talk, but I'm friendly if you reach out first.

I have gender identity issues out the ears. *laughs* I'd love to talk about that, too, but it makes me really sad sometimes and it's a major trigger for me. But I also think it's interesting, and incredibly important.

Note: I have mostly abstained from SI for a little more than a year now, and what I have done is extremely mild. But I still get urges, and sometimes they're so strong I can't think. That's why I still consider myself to need support.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. *small wave*
