Hey, I'm New Here! -

Hi there everyone! *waves awkwardly*
My name is Emily and today I decided to join this little community. Hopefully it'll be a good fit for me.  So who am I? Well, I'm not exactly sure yet myself! I enjoy reading, drawing, editing, and psychology. I like green and purple and I adore animals even though I'm allergic. I'm introverted and I think too much. What brought me here? I suffer from depression, anxiety (especially social), anorexia, low self-esteem, perfectionism, cutting, and OCD tendencies. With me it's like mental illnesses are pokemon and I've gotta catch 'em all.  I hope I can help others like me and also get support when I need it. My life in a nutshell: All of my past I feel dissociated from, like it wasn't really me. Then my parents divorced and shortly after the fog went away. I got mental disorders instead. Recently I was in hospital because my depression and anxiety got really bad. The hospital was fantasic because my life was balanced and it was so calm there. Now I'm trying to regain my balance but it's tough! And that's me. I'll guess I'll see you on the forums! Take care!

My name is Brittany and I am a HelpLINK Mentor here on TeenHelp. HelpLINK is a place, similar to an emailing system, where you can anonymously post 'tickets' with your story, questions, etc. and you get some awesome advice by some of our mentors. You sound like a really awesome person! Actually, we are quite similar in some ways. I enjoy reading, writing, studying Psychology, animals, and due to depression and anxiety; I am an introvert.
