I'm going back to school today and I've decided that I should try to stop coming on TeenHelp, specifically chat, this semester. This semester is going to be harder than previous ones for me and I should focus more on school than I have been. I also realize that this site is the starting point to the majority of drama in my life, I feel like being on here is causing me more harm than good at this point. As I get older, I realize there isn't much left TeenHelp can offer me that I can't get in real life.
Recently I've also realized that some users are not very truthful, lying about who they are or who they make you think they are. I don't feel as safe as I should (however, I don't necessarily feel like TH isn't safe) so I've decided to delete TH people from my Facebook. I didn't want to pick and choose who I stayed Facebook friends with, and having any TH friends makes it a lot easier to find me for TH people I don't know and aren't friends with. So I'm deleting everyone, even if we're "bffs." If we ARE friends on there, please don't take offense to my sudden absence. I still have MSN, so if we're friends you can probably reach me on that. You might still see me around for a week or so, until my work load picks up. Hopefully after that you won't see me. "'Colie, you should never be surprised when people treat you with respect. I know you've been planning on this for a while now, so I do hope that its the right choice, though you seem pretty okay with it. Good luck with everything, and remember that if you do want to come back, TeenHelp will always be here for you. Stay safe. <3

Although I don't know you personally, I think your decision is a good one and I see where you're coming from. Sometimes I like to take little breaks from TH for a few weeks at a time, and I think a break is only healthy if it's a full break. For that reason I personally choose not to have TH members on facebook (all but two.) I think what you're doing is good!! Best of luck with work.

Keena, I can totally understand where you're coming from with this and an absence from the site may very well be what's best for you but don't forget that we're always here if you need some support or advice that you cannot get in real life.
