Hi, my name is Alex, i'm 17 years old. I love music, I've been around it my whole life. I can play drums, piano, classical guitar, and i've been learning the violin but i'm not that good at it yet. I'm not a big talker, but i feel like i need to talk to people to be normal. The whole thing makes me nervous and i can't even think of anything to say at all. I'd like to meet new friends here!

It's quite easy to make new friends here.

The chatroom is a good place to start, and also just VMing or PMing anybody who looks interesting. Lots of people are on here to make friends.
I love music too. You sound awesome, I've only ever been able to learn a bit of guitar and very, very basic piano.

I play all types of music. I've been practicing a lot of jazz over the past year, more than other styles. I'd like to hear some of your songs some day! ... I guess that's true. I just have a fear of people disliking me, and it controls my life.

I have plenty to say, i just can't say it in front of people... That's why I like music, if i'm sad I can play a nocturne by Chopin, if i'm happy i'll play some pop punk or if i'm bored i'll play jazz... music is easy to me, talking to people and being interesting is frustratingly difficult. Thanks for the warm welcome! Well out of all the instruments, I personally find the piano and the drums to be the most difficult... violin 3rd, and guitar as the least difficult. Playing the snare alone can help you with technique and dexterity, however the most important thing is expression. How the notes sound, and how the beat sounds. Speed will come, but only to those who are patient and take the time.
