They say it’s hard to let go
But life’s not a place I call home
Even if I’m not alone
I need to know what’s right on my own
When the sun shines the clouds roll away
Faking life will be better today
When raindrops fall from the skies
I realize they’re tears in my eyes
The fire burns highest degree
Torching what’s left inside me
Baby if you were to leave
I’d rip this heart off of my sleeve
When there’s no more writing on the page
My life’s at the end of the stage
When I’m dying in this cage
The horror takes its chance to engage
It’s like I’m married to pain
The only vows we’re unable to erase
When I’ve lost all my breathing space
My existence starts to lose its place
When you say those thoughts make you cry
Baby I think the same thing all the time
But they’d be worse if you were gone
It’d hurt more if we were done
You’d think nothing could be worse
But love’s the only thing that hurts
Baby what I’m telling you is true
And I’m never going to stop loving you
Even if we come to an end
I’ll act likes it’s okay and just pretend
So listen to everything I say now
Taking your life is something I won’t allow
I may say life threatening things
But I won’t commit because you are my everything
Even if the pain won’t go away
Just for you I’ll be brave
I wish I could hold you tight
But just wait for a few more nights
Just do whatever it takes
And I’ll do my best to prevent this pain from reaching the highest stakes
When your spirit comes down with the rain
I’ll protect you from hurting your veins
I may not have all the answers that you need
But I’ll listen to everything you have to tell me
~I was always scared of everything, even the carousel.~
~Don't worry about me. I'm sort of feeling fine, but by tomorrow, I'll be back on my feet again.~
All of your poems are always so beautiful. The first stanza is my favourite.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
This is amazing! So much emotion. Ah, just love it
You are such an amazing poet
Jay.

My blog is open to all, those whom are easily triggered avoid, it's a story about a girl and her life and how far she has come over the years. If you read it, I hope it inspires you to keep fighting and to NEVER give up!
When you can no longer think of a reason to continue, you must think of a reason to start over.
