Her Eyes speak her Lies (poem and picture)

Nobody will see it, and that's what makes it the perfect crime.
Tear-stains go unnoticed, painful stabs leave without fine.
A broken heart with too many band-aids slowly crumbles.
Nobody hears the matching broken words she mumbles.

Dark nights spent inside thoughts, too much time given to the killer.
Warm skin to cool metal, the throbbing as a filler.
To fade away in the warmth of familiar bedding,
let her fiery blood and skin show her the mending.

Bright days lived in the sun, her mind trapped in the shadows of life.
Refusing any food, her heart, mind, and body, fight.
Blurring away in the background like she does constantly,
faking the emotions that she must repeatedly.

Look at her in the eyes, try to deny her utter sadness.
You can not save her now, for she will die in blackness.
No longer can she keep up happiness and tolerance;
she can't lie and say she hasn't fallen into hopelessness.

There is definitely a lot of power in this, a lot of emotion. There is a lot of vivid imagery as well and everything just flows so wonderfully. I enjoy reading your poetry!

And is that you in the picture? You're beautiful. :D

I really like this especially the first stanza.

Aww thank you so much guys! That means so much!

And yeah, that is me. Thank you :) I remember my friend asked to see my hair straight (I have curly/wavy hair) and I sent her the picture, and she said I looked weirdly sad; so I thought it kind of fit this poem.
