Triggering (Abuse): New Poem: She Used To Have Dreams

I'm writing poems again! Yay! So this, I wrote this morning when my friend was saying how glad she is I broke up with Cody, cuz of his "sexual harassment". And Yeah. So here goes....

She spoke barely any,
her eyes locked to the floor,
she wanted to leave,
but never ran for the door,
no matter how badly,
she needed to go,
a door wouldn't help her,
escape the life,
she must know.
Her secrets and scars,
both just too deep,
the life she once had,
now she doesn't
want to keep,
he took everything,
all her freedom and hope,
and the silence she makes,
is her only
way to cope.
She sits in the corner,
her whole body sore,
she feels so disgusting,
right down to the core.
She's still so young,
he didn't even care,
she thought she loved him,
and that's just unfair.
No one knew,
or heard her screams,
but the scariest part?
She used to have dreams.
He took those away,
along with the rest,
and since she spoke of it none,
you never
would've guessed.
