first poem in a while

[Lil'OrphanAnnie]

scared to leave the house
hiding like a little mouse
cant answer the phone
I don't think anybody is home
Running through my head
thoughts of how I will be dead
if I stay too far away
but I don't want to stay
I want to be free
and go out and play
please tell me!
will I ever get my day?

its been quite a few months that I have written anything. so any comments are appreciated. thank you very much

This is a great poem, I agree with dez, its an awesome ending

I liked this as well. And, the ending was pretty good. I like when poems end with questions because it leaves you with something to think about.

Short, but good.
