it

It will get better, I bet
Although we have yet, to
define "It"
"It'll be okay", they say
"It happens for a reason"
Just hang in there
I don't mean to rain on your parade
But I hang in every single day
I swing from a branch
And sometimes, I want out
Sometimes I want
To flight more than to fight.
To free-fall down below
Is a dream worth dying for
The Glow-in-the-dark stick
The forbidden "eat me"
Ancient sacred secret poison potion
For now, hanging in thin air
Will do,
In due time,
I will see
What this special "it" is about

I admit that I don't fully understand parts of this, but I did really enjoy it anyway. :nosweat: Thanks for sharing!

I admit, this was spontaneous and a response poem to someone else's work that began with "It gets better"

I confess, I confused myself with it too. And wasn't sure about posting :?
I've been extra scatterbrained lately.

I really like this one and I think a lot of people will be able to relate to "it." ;)

I write spontaneous poems or I used too! Sometimes they end up being the best.

Wow, this made me think a lot, I usually don't hold the term, "it" to high standards and have so much meaning. But this shows little words can mean a lot, even teachers would prefer us to use more educated euphemisms.

Thank you for sharing.
