'Perfect' Man

Some say the “perfect” man is: tall, dark, mysterious, and handsome. Yet there was this boy…yes, he was short, pale, ordinary, and just cute. He wasn’t anything too special. He was not a “perfect” man to most, but to this girl he meant everything. He was her imperfect perfection. This boy was all she wanted and more than she deserved. Yes, this boy wasn’t tall, he wasn’t dark, he wasn’t too mysterious nor too handsome to the world, but to her…he was the “perfect” man. In her mind he was darker than the night sky and as tall as an evergreen tree. He was the Sherlock Holmes of mysteries and was the Ken of Barbie dolls. Taking into consideration the world's judgment he was nowhere near their idea of a "perfect" man.Their ideals weren't based on the sweetness of his kisses or the softness of his touch. The world's judgment was only of the outward flesh. What was on the inside didn’t matter to them for they were stone cold, heartless beings. The girl’s ideals were based on the inward appearance overflowing to the outside. What he felt on the inside was portrayed through his actions which were as sweet as could be. The softness of his touch and the sweetness of his kisses were only the beginning. His inner feelings began to grow stronger and his actions portrayed that well. The passion flowed through into the kisses shared and the attraction pulled them closer with every touch. The "perfect" man doesn't have to be what the world sees. Make him your own.
