I think back to when I was a little girl, I remember a girl who could, no would, conquer the world. My heroine was Amelia because she could fly. How I wished I could leave the ground too. I could, no I would, if only I would try. But I was a victim of my circumstances you see. How many people actually felt for this little girl- me. I remember now. Yeah, I remember now.
What is time when it comes to space. Where am I now in this place. My body is here, but my mind can't erase, all the memories. I remember now. Yeah, I remember now. Is that the way it was suppose to be? My innocence taken away from me?! You said time, time will replace what was taken from me, but now my mind still doesn't replace what happened again and again in this place. I remember now! Yeah, I remember now! Do you even know how I would hide and how often I would cry? No! I was strong and kept it inside! What made you think you could grab me from behind? What could I have possibly done to give you that sign?? What made you think that I wouldn't care? Was your trophy my underwear?! You said that we hurt the ones we love. I doubt that was sent from any commandment above! I remember now! Yeah, I remember now! I cup my hands and blow into them some air. I raise them to the sky and release without care. Maybe it was my fault for being so young or even my fate. But I will always be the little girl wishing hugs could replace hate. I will move on now. Yeah, I will move on now. |
