As She Walks
She walks through the meadow With no place to go All alone She must roam To where she does not know How long must she go Until she can feel safe? Until she can close her eyes without seeing his face The face of a monster, one with no soul How long must she go Until she feels whole? She stopped suddenly to an amazing sound The sound of water, rushing to the ground She searched until she found her place On a rock by a waterfall, flowing with grace The emotions that rushed through her came to a halt She felt peace and love and realized it wasn't her fault She knows she must move on, although it will be hard She knows she is the player and life is the card Thanks for taking your time to read this... You write things that I can totally and completely relate to. That part is something I feel and wonder all the time. Keep writing I love how your poems bring my emotions to the surface and really make me think. You are fantastic.
