Loneliness feeling As the snow began to fall
My mind started to recall How I wish you had been able to stay I still have your smile you left for me as you walked away At times, snow gives me a loneliness feeling Now fixated on my window instead of the ceiling Watching it fall on the ground and cars Obscuring the night and its stars I anticipated the morning and its beauty to see How many inches would there be Would my friend get a break from school tomorrow Will I lay here and let my heart fill with sorrow Sorrow at missing you And all the things we have been through You are the only one in my life who knows My struggles but I guess that is how things in life goes You carry on with your life with him As I struggle to keep my head above water as I swim I will always continue to love you The only friend I ever really knew |
