Never to be beaultiful

Left never to feel beautiful
Condemned to always be dutiful
No voice
No choice
Nothing she can do
When she is alone with you

(In her darkened world alone with you)

She can write
Even continue to pray that one day things will be alright
She knows deep down
When no one else is around
She will again be violated
A life she has always hated

(Mere shadow of a person long ago faded)

She musters the courage to hide her tears
Attempts to isolate her fears
To stem the pain
On her mind, it is an overwhelming, continuous drain
She has no power
Crushed under the weight of a fallen tower

(Left only to cower. She is left cower)

From the one who will again cause harm
Her silence does not sound an alarm
She is weak
The smell of alcohol does reek
He is stronger
She tries to hang on a little longer

(Broken she can take it no longer)

She packs away another picture frame
Knowing the little girl in it will never be the same
The good memories and smiles are all gone
With the loss of her mother, she is left alone
Somehow she has made it to this day
With a body long gone and a mind wasting away
