This actually brings up some very interesting memories from my past, perhaps inadvertently. So I'm slightly ambivalent about how to respond, but I'll say one thing - your poem has a very unique character, and I really like that.
Definitely keep writing.

This is a very unique poem Mary, both beautiful and unique. I know you're lookin for ways to get through your hard time and getting away, or even someone to take you away would be an ideal answer. I hope you find relief soon darling. The Statue of Liberty can be your goal, but the sky's your limit. Reach for the stars. Take care luvi..x

Thank you for reading this. I had written another poem this morning while walking between buildings and seeing the sun for the first time in days. I wrote this while sitting in someone's office looking at a picture of the Statue of Liberty and the towers before court this morning. It only took a couple of minutes to write down on a scrap piece of paper. It answer will take so much longer.

Thank you guys. Your comments mean a lot to me. I wrote this while waiting to see how things would go yesterday morning. Wishing someone wanted me. It'll work out somehow, someday, if not, I guess I'll just keep writing.
