This is a poem of mine I wrote over a year and half ago now. Let me know what you think?
Your arms around me That is really all I wanted And, in the end I got it After all the waiting After all the late night conversations I got you When I met you We were like popcorn and butter Complementing each other like no other You made me stutter baby Too nervous to even clearly tell you how I felt You had me Yeah, eventually things got hard for us But trust wasn’t at all what was wrong We both knew it was his fault He kept me from you for so long I broke all his rules for you It was so worth it I loved you then I’ll continue to love you We both know it will never be the same again Boy, you were what kept me steady, sane I don’t regret you I never will Would you ever take me back? |

I love how you wrote this, and really loved "We were like popcorn and butter Complimenting each other like no other." Everything flowed in my opinion.
