I used to a lot, I like to think I was pretty good at it. I don't do much anymore. I had a friend who inspired me few years ago, but that's long gone. Sometimes I still get the urge to write... but without that urge most things I write turn out trashy. Talking and all isn't really a strong point of mine. I don't say anything unless I have something to say.

I think that's wonderful poetry. You're using multis in some instances and really getting the point across.

Thanks. I find it futile trying to write and then rap it. I might have that inner feeling and connection with what I'm writing when I write it, but when I finish it, the fire's gone. My voice just sounds like I'm reading some dull text. Whatever inspiration I get nowadays, usually doesn't last very long at all.

I don't rap, I used to sing and write songs but I was reading something BDF just said about without the urge, and the work coming out flat. The reason behind that is because if you're just pushing--as if you're playing with play-dough and push it through the playdough cutters it ends up all clumpy and an odd shape. Real work isn't pushed, it's felt and then written. Really--if I showed work that I did out of my free time or work I pushed myself to do it is different.

I actually do, haha. I'm making my first album, actually. With a shitty 10$ mic, and a ton of software to help me go.

I write a lot, a ton, actually. You can see it all on this site if you check around. But my facebook is probably the best place to see it all. My favorite thing about writing raps, though, are multi's. I over-do them but I think it's way too fun to not write like that

It's not like that with me. I feel the urge when I write it, and I feel it for a few minutes, sometimes even a few days or at most a few weeks afterwards, but if I leave it too long it just goes. I lose the connection. It starts feeling like it wasn't me who wrote it.

I hardly ever write unless I feel the urge to... by that I mean I hardly ever "push" it. Otherwise... it comes out like a constipated shit, in the words of one of my friends. Painful, slow, unpleasant, and generally shit.

Sometimes the urge will "re-ignite"... but that's rare, and I've noticed no trend in why it does or doesn't happen. It seems almost entirely random.
