Somebody told me to post this here, so I did.
 What do you think? I find that I don’t quite remember all the words in notes I sent her, all the rhymes, the turns of phrase, which I recited on sunlit days. Furthermore, I can’t recall the features of her face or voice – in fact, her scent at all. Yet I remember simple things - a flash of white, a butterfly’s wings, the scent of summer in the air, a purple ribbon in her hair. Thinking back to sleepless nights, ruminating over silly fights, wondering how things would change – it seemed our hearts dropped out of range. Now I find that we don’t speak – has it been months, or only weeks? I find that I lose track of time within the labyrinth of my mind, a place where she once safely dwelled, from which she has now been expelled. Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |

I've already read it but I will post anyway juust for you saying that this is amazing and you are an amazing writer who uses good vocabulary and I still like the second stanza very much.
 I still want to read more of your work!
