Honestly, I've been going through a tough time lately, so I've turned again to writing as a way to express myself. So expect quite a few more pieces of work from me.
 Looks like summer, smells like rain, sounds like reason, feels like pain. Questions all rhetorical, answers metaphorical if given at all. Looks like courage, smells like fear, sounds like spirit, feels like tears. Troubles all contemporary, relief only temporary before you start to fall. Looks like solace, smells like shame, sounds like honesty, feels like games. Promises abundant, explanations redundant once you end the call. Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |

You are really good at rhyming and showing the emotions in poems.
