It's gonna be a long road ahead,
To overcome these bloody tears we've shed,
One too many of these tears have been cried,
With every tear a part of us died,
But I have you and you have me,
Together we will discover our beauty,
The beauty that's beyond our scars,
And one day we'll not only know but also feel God's love is never far,
One day our tears will fall only from our eyes,
And we won't have to live in these lies,
We will no longer feel the need,
Feel the need to commit these felonious deeds,
We will honor our bodies,
And make God pleased,
So take my hand and I'll take yours,
And together we will fight our inner wars,
It won't be an easy fight but it'll be a glorious victory,
So lets show the world all we can be,
Now lets say good bye to those razorblade kisses,
And find other ways to encounter blissness,
It's time to throw out the blades,
And allow the scars to fade,
I know it's gonna be a long road ahead,
