Do you feel like it was right?
To knowingly take advantage of me? You were 15 when I was 13. You had girlfriends before me. You knew I wouldn't know how bad you treated me. Two years later I finally see. You hurt me in ways not even you can see. Instead of physical you left emotional scars. I'm still scared to be alone. You left me feeling like I wouldn't be able to go on without someone. You found little ways of keeping me insecure. You even pushed me into talking about having sex with you. How could you do that? The worst part was my fault though. I fell for you. You took advantage of that and pushed me past my limits. You knew I would stay. Now that I'm not with you, is it still okay? |

Hi Lexie,
I'm terribly sorry that this happened to you. However, it's great that you're writing about it. Writing can allow you to sort through your thoughts and feelings and make more sense of a situation. If you haven't already, I think maybe you should show someone this poem so they can help you work through what happened when you were 13. That's very scary! The poem is lovely, though. Keep expressing!
