The world never stops
Yet there she is, stuck in yesterday Regrets, worries, sadness. They all surround her, like friend's she never left behind But that's because she never let herself forget Her mind is still in the past, killing her slowly from the inside Erasing who she used to be, obliterating all her confidence Her body is just going through the motions As she's stuck in yesterday Can't she see, things change? Life doesn't stop for anybody You could suffer, stuck in the past, while everyone moves forward Or you could do the same Shit happens, friends turn to foe, people lie, not everyday will be fair.. Yeah sure, life gets difficult But if you just stay stuck in the past You'll never see the opportunities of today Life doesn't stop for anybody So start living your life Love yourself for who you are, and never let anyone tell you you aren't good enough Who are they to judge? Open your eyes girl Do you see the sun rising higher? Feel the wind moving?
