Triggering: Despair is a Choice

Sinking to the bottom of despair

Its a story we never like to share

When you feel like nobody even cares

And when you start pulling out all of your hairs.

When tears run like waterfalls, and you start ignoring all your friend's calls

When you want to do nothing at all but crawl up into a ball

Let the tears stream down as you stare at the blank walls

Too tired to stand tall, too much shit in your brain you're prone to stall

Your just waiting for the day you finally fall.

With every breath you sink lower

And you're too embarrassed to show her

That you might need help up

So you keep everything shut up

But now its bursting at the seams

And your so tired and delirious you don't know what it means

Till your on the floor, ready to scream

As the emotional pain takes its toll

Killing you slowly is it's goal.

Do you really believe you have no soul?

You're looking at life like an empty bowl

You need to go for a stroll, let the good times roll

But that's impossible, as your sinking to the bottom of despair

Don't get too comfy in this dark horrible lair

You need to know, people do care.

And sometimes the same pain can cause a tear in another life too

You never really know what its like in other people's shoes

You're not the only person who seems to always lose

Happiness isn't something you get, its something you choose

So close your eyes and muse

Realize you can be happy, just push the shit aside

Don't let your emotions act like a tide

Just enjoy this ride we call life

And stop sinking into the depths of despair

I promise you, we all care

And once you accept life as it is its much easier to bear
