Please leave me alone tonight and I promise I'll be good, I will behave and try harder to make people happy, I know I'm un-deserving of your mercy but I beg of you to stop. You try and try to break me but you can't break what is already broken, hiding the hurt very well.... I will be able to sleep at night without crying and bleeding, I will be able to confidently put away that cold silver blade that is on my purple braclet, I will be able to wear shorts in the summer without having people look at the strawberry coloured lines and words engraved into my leg... So pain, please please please leave me be. |
