Battling for her own life - February 16th 2012, 06:55 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of eating disorders, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

Sharp pain piercing through her
bones screaming for food
But she can't force her hands to
reach for at least a fruit or veggie
She stares aching for a bite a taste
of soup or bread instead licking the
tears cascading off her cheeks onto
her lips. She stares trembling wishing
for something to magically come and
take the pain away. She thinks she
has so much self control but really
she has none. Unable to eat a grape.
Locked in a cage of her own mind.
Endlessly torn to pieces everyday
battling for her own life.

I like this. It really captures the essence of someone who has an ED. Keep it up.

wanderlust consumed her;
foreign hearts & exotic minds compelled her.
she had a gypsy soul
and a vibrant heart for the unknown.

The emotion is emulating, and I love it.

Great read

I love the emotion in this! Great piece of writing.
