We sometimes look too closely at things.
Then we do not like what we find.
We don't need to see all of what life brings.
Not everything is loving and kind.

Sometimes I want to see things in more of a blur.
I don't put on my glasses because I don't like what I see.
I only want to see the main picture; the rest I can infer.
I just want to see things as they SHOULD actually be.

Who wants to see the ugly details anyway?
Beauty can be captured at a glance.
Sometimes you should just learn to look away.
Save your naiveness while you have the chance.

It's easier to use your imagination.
Don't let yourself look too hard.
Don't look too hard at God's creation.
Then you'll see people's scars.

When we were little we thought the world was pretty.
But now that I am older I know I was wrong.
The world is only full of hopelessness and pity.
At too young of an age we have to learn to be strong.

Some things are meant to be unseen
so turn your eyes away.
Some people are naturally mean
so don't give them the time of day

You will discover things you don't want to find.
This world is full of hidden lies.
So close your eyes;
you might actually be better off blind.

This one is so amazing and talks about something so true! I honestly feel that sometimes it is better to close our eyes. I often remove my glasses when I don't feel like seeing a clear picture and want to fill in the details on my own. So you can see that I can relate to this a lot
