How often do you change or replace your...
• furniture?
• mattress?
• appliances?
Furniture should be replaced every 5 - 20 years (dependent on the furniture); Mattresses should be replaced every 6 - 8 years (under normal conditions); Appliances every 10 - 15 years if they continue to run.
Are there any exceptions in changing furniture, mattresses, and appliances? What has been your experience?
For kitchen items it says every 2 - 4 weeks, which makes absolutely no sense. By kitchen items, I mean: utensils, pots and pans, spatulas and other cooking items, as well as bowls and dishes. I feel like they would last at least two or three years; unless I'm totally missing something?

I think we use the same kitchen items for many years until they finally break on us, so I can't imagine using them for 2-4 weeks and then replacing them. That gets expensive fast!

Maybe there's a mistake and they meant 2-4 years? Indeed 2-4 weeks makes no sense whatsoever

That makes absolutely no sense, and would indeed get very expensive, if I were to replace every dish in my house including utensils every 2-4 weeks. I mean is that not what dish soap is for :P. I would much rather wash my dishes and keep them for at least 2 years, but honestly, we have had the same dishes for the last 3+ years, (I mean bowls and plates) and they are still in great condition, so why bother to replace them, if they still are good.
I fell in love the way you fall asleep. Slowly then all at once <3

Yeah, I was talking with Dez about it and we both were laughing about it. It makes absolutely no sense, and the same source material also said 2 - 4 years in another result on the same search query. 0_o
