getting worried about my period - June 8th 2012, 06:29 PM

so, last month my period literally lasted about 6 hours, and this month it is running late, I don't know if it is going to come or not. I stopped taking my pill on Tuesday, and I have until next Wednesday (start the new pack then), SO it could still come.

But I got really paranoid after yesterday when I remembered my irregular pap. And I am now super worried that what ever showed up is actually something bad (cervix cancer is the specific concern but it could be anything).

I am perfectly aware of the fact that some birth controls can cause a missed period but I have been on this one for months without a problem and I have taken several different BC pills over the years and this is one of the better ones I've been on.

I'm just looking for perspective here, wondering if my period doesn't come or what ever if I should see a doc or what?

dont worry for now. if your under stress or not feeling great than that can cause you not not have a period on time. if u become really late then take a pregnacy test

I haven't had sex since like last August. That would make me 10 months pregnant which is an indication that I must be an elephant (literally) since I have the gestation of one haha. And I am definitely not stressed out by anything right now. That is why I am wondering if I get another messed up period (which is still currently late) if I should see my doctor cause there is no obvious explanation (cause like I said, I am not sure if it is caused by my birth control or if something

id say, if youre that worried about it, talk to your doctor. it could just be normal irregularity, but if youre that concerned, get it checked
