(I'm a girl) Sore from Masturbation?

This is umm... Quite embarrassing and I hope it doesn't offend anyone asking but I've googled it and didn't really get much helpful info so I thought I'd ask here. Umm... So, I'm a girl (teen) and a virgin, and I've been masturbating for 2 years now and umm, just have a few questions. In the past year, after I rub my clit and orgasm, it's sore if I don't wait to do it again in at least 4-5 days. I read about over masturbating but it said wait 1-2 or even 3 days if it hurts. So, is this normal? I'm quite horny a lot and masturbation is my outlet due to not wanting to get pregnant too early. Wanna find the right one.

I don't really get much from fingering myself or anything else. So what do I do? I try to take my mind off wanting sex but I always tend to masturbate and wind up hurting myself by doing it too much. It doesn't interfere with my daily stuff nor am I obsessed (I don't think anyway :P) Just wondering about the soreness and touchiness.

I didn't start masturbating until I was 20 and I've never experienced pain through masturbation (or other stimulation, for that matter--I'm still technically a virgin, I've done pretty much everything except have a penis inside me, though), so I can't really relate. What I experience is an extreme sensitivity for a little while after masturbating/stimulation. It's extremely ticklish for me. If I get up and do something, it will go away though. It only lasts while I lie there.

It could quite possibly be due to the fact that you are young. As you get older, your body becomes more sexually mature. I've heard that sex hurts less when you're older than it does when you're younger (or so I've been told; can't vogue from experience because I didn't start fooling around at all until May of this year).

It sounds like you might need more lubrication... it's possible that you're rubbing yourself raw... for lack of a better phrase xD if that's not it, maybe you just need to be more gentle?

I'm not a girl, but I think that the same thing applies here. Lubrication. Either use commercial lube, spit, or something along those lines. I'm not sure what is safe for women to use for lubrication, other than commercial lube, and most likely spit, but I'm sure a quick google on lubrication for women would be able to give you enough ideas.

You do not necessarily need to use something water based, but don't use Vaseline, it can trap bacteria in your vagina and cause an infection. You can however use something like olive oil. It is actually really good for your skin too!

Don't be embarassed! I am a young teen too who is quite horny. I love to finger myself and I have huge sexual urges. Its normal! I would recommend using more lube or going a bit more gentle. Oh, and if you are rubbing your clit, make sure your fingernails are not to long so you don't scratch yourself! Another thing I do is use finger condoms. They are not actually condoms, but they are rubber sleeves that you put on your finger to protect a cut or scratch on your finger. I use these because I won't catch my nails on myself and they slide easier. You can get them at a normal drugstore.

Thank you! I had a problem once with my finger nails being too long... That's when I started being more careful. But anyways thanks for your advice, I might try that out too.
