Using Tena lady pads for periods - October 9th 2012, 12:48 PM

I actually bought them by accident a few weeks ago thinking they were for periods :') I then realised they were incontinence pads.

I have quite heavy periods so they actually work really well. They don't leak at all and I'm not checking them constantly to see if I have blood on my underwear.

Does anyone else use them? or am I just weird :')

I don't think you're weird, I've had to use one of them that I borrowed from my Nan because I'd ran out of pads at her house

I can imagine they do work quite well if you're heavy. I'm quite light so I can get away with just wearing thin pantyliners usually so I've never had a need for them

I know :') I just seen "lady" and assumed it was for that :')

I got them home and my mum couldn't stop laughing when she seen them.

Screw it, I prefer them

Lol. I didn't really even think to use them. And that's, well, I don't think I plan to either. I prefer maxi pads. That's what I use. And while I'm fairly heavy, it still works good. Especially the ones with with wings

Oooooh. Good idea.

Hang on, price-wise, which is cheaper- period pads or incontinence pads? Taking into account number in a pack, how long you can leave them on for etc.

Always looking for ways to save money

EDIT: Can you imagine if my family/boyfriend/friends saw me buying them?

Chin up kid, they'd kill to see you fall.
