Cool Need an excuse - August 5th 2009, 04:03 PM

This is very embarrassing but very funny at the same time.

Me and my boyfriend were having sex today and he was going at it kinda hard ... and he ripped a hole in the bed sheets with his foot (LOL)

Any ideas of what I could say to my mum about it? I'm gonna leave it a few days then tell her the sheets are ripped but I need a decent excuse

Re: Need an excuse - August 5th 2009, 04:25 PM

hahaha very rough indeed lol :P
maybe you could just say that you were sleeping and had a nightmare and were moving around and you ripped them?
or maybe you could say you dropped something on the sheets and they ripped?
could you just not replace the sheets without telling your mum?
im not alltogether sure what to suggest lol, is a bit of a wierd experience lol.
im sure other people will be more helpful than i have been, so im sorry
good luck and i hope you find your excuse

Re: Need an excuse - August 5th 2009, 04:27 PM

my gosh lol. right ok,in these situations i would play stupid,i don't know if this would work for you but one morning go down to your mum and be like "mum,i woke up this morning and i found my foot stuck through my sheet on my bed! it's ripped a hole in it! i don't know how i managed to do it, i must have been fighting during my sleep" or something like that, sometimes i wake up in the morning with the quilt having little rips in it because i just fight a lot during my sleep. you could pretend you was really tossing and turning during your sleep. i don't know if this would work for you.

if not,do you have a pet? if you have a dog or something blame it on the doggy.i know it's bad but sometimes these things need to be done lol. it's a tough one to think of though,i'll have a think about it and if i get any other ideas i'll let you know

Re: Need an excuse - August 5th 2009, 04:39 PM

Sorry, but I this made me chuckle lol.

As for an excuse- you could say you got your foot tangled at night and somehow ripped the sheets. Or maybe you were doing a project on your bed and accidentally cut them. Perhaps you can just put them in the hamper and let her find out for herself, then act surprised when she asks you about it. I am sure you could pull off the, "I had no idea- that's really weird" routine.

Although, telling her the truth wouldn't hurt either. =]
Hope this helped,
-Amy

I'd say nothing until she noticed but thats just me.
I think Amy's idea about possibly doing a school project or artwork on the bed is a good one, and accidentally cutting through the sheets

If you have any pets like a dog or cat then you could blame them? Or you could just put them in the wash and when they come out ripped say to your mum the washer must have done it.

keep quiet until she says something - then when she does just be like "oh that's weird - i don't know how that would have happened." if you try and make up some complicated excuse it'll probably come back and bite you in the ass

alternatively.. you could just tell her the truth - although that might not be the best idea lol.

Yeah I would side more with the truth, but only if she asked how.

Sex is natural and i know many people wont want to hear it. But your mum has probably done the same a few times too. (My GF dont like the thought of it lol)

Its something natural in a relationship.
And Mums always seem to know anyway lol

I can see where your coming from with telling her the truth, maybe just tell her you were fooling around and they ripped so you don't have to go into detail. Or, just as others have said put them to be washed and hope she doesn't notice, if she does then just play dumb and say something like "I never noticed, that's weird".

I know that my bed has a metal frame around it and some of the corners are snag my blankets. So could say that when you pulled the sheet up, it was caught in the frame and ripped. This has happened to me before, so it is a real excuse. But that depends on what kind of bed you have.
